Everyone went 30% off last week. Still proud of your 15%?

The short answer
When you set a promotion, you want the discounts and offers running across your category right now, so your 15% doesn't land next to everyone else's 30%. Adveron reads the offer layer out of the category's live ads: what every tracked competitor is promoting, at what depth, right now and over time.
What every tracked competitor is promoting, at what depth, right now.
Discount depth as a trendline, so rising pressure shows up before your CFO asks about it.
Your 15% lands knowing whether the category is at 10 or at 30.
A promotion never lands in a vacuum; it lands next to every other offer the customer saw this week, and its perceived generosity is set by that lineup, not by your margin math. The lineup is public. Competitors announce their offers in their ads, and a tracked ad record across the category reads as a live board of who is discounting what, how deep, and since when.
Because the record is stored over time, the seasonal shape becomes visible too: when the category's pressure historically ramps, how long the deep-discount windows last, and which brands hold price while others race down. Setting a promotion against that read means choosing your moment and your depth deliberately, including the deliberate choice not to join the race.

Paid ads are where offers get pushed hardest, so the ad record captures the pressure a customer actually feels, but it is not the whole surface. Treat it as the strongest single read on category pressure and add channel-specific checks where an offer matters to you.
